In this role I establish meaningful relationships with year 12 school leavers with a disability and their families to assist participants gain confidence and work skills and assist them in finding meaningful employment. This role assists participants identify career aspirations. I also provide training and mentoring with travel training, confidence, work simulations, WHS knowledge assessments and training, resume writing, communication techniques, sourcing safe work experience.The role also involves supporting participants in the workplace while undertaking work experience this includes working closely with participants and employers to ensure required tasks are carried out in accordance with the role they are undertaking.

In my current role I am assisting national clients and local GTO's fill Indigenous employment opportunities across Tasmania, Victoria, ACT and Western Australia. I also provide specialised one on one coaching and mentoring to Indigenous jobseekers to gain meaningful employment.

My role is to assist Aboriginal students in grades 10, 11 and 12 who enter into an SBT regardless of what industry. I also mentor them through the duration of their qualification. I assist them with the associated work relating to their qualification. Transitioning from year 10 to year 11, liaise with their parents, schools, registered training organisations and employers to ensure they stay on track and keep attending school whilst doing their SBT. I have 10 years VET experience both with registered training organisations and apprenticeship centres and this certainly compliments this role.
