CurrentKelli is a litigator and eDiscovery specialist with almost two decades of defending pharmaceutical and medical device companies in complex litigation. Kelli focuses her practice on commercial and complex litigation as well as government enforcement actions on a national level. She also represents clients in responding to civil and criminal investigations by federal and state government. Kelli also coordinates and manages large eDiscovery responsibilities on behalf of automotive clients. Kelli has extensive experience in litigation managing complex discovery and related motion practice and deposition preparation. As a member of Shook’s Data and Discovery group, Kelli advises clients in a range of discovery-related issues related to preservation, collection, processing and review of documents for production and case assessment. Kelli leads large teams in document reviews including both internally as well as working with third-party vendors. She provides strategies to efficiently and effectively tackle large eDiscovery review projects. Kelli also focuses her practice on tracking relevant eDiscovery cases and technology trends to better serve her clients. In these roles, Kelli provides creative and insightful information to counsel regarding the challenges posed by the exponential growth in the eDiscovery landscape. Kelli had let privilege teams responsible for meeting Rule 26 and Federal Rule of Evidence 502 requirements for numerous pharmaceutical companies. She has deployed artificial intelligence strategies to respond to discovery that met Federal Rule if Civil Procedure 26(g) for one of the largest automotive manufacturers as well as pharmaceutical companies. During law school, Kelli was a member of the UMKC Law Review and editorial associate of the Urban Lawyer Law Journal, and was elected as a UMKC Emissary.
