I reported on state and local news across 14 counties in the Greater Chicago Area online and in print. I wrote an investigative news series on immigration with the support of my supervisor. The series won a second place Illinois Press Association award for News Reporting Series as well as a first place Northern Illinois Newspaper Association award for Best Multicultural/Immigration Story.
