I have 9 years of experience in the public elementary classroom, mostly in Title 1 schools, in which I have gained valuable lessons and skills in time management, flexibility, lesson creation, virtual teaching and creating online lessons and modules, assessment development and implementation, cooperative planning, curriculum design, leadership, data analysis, and patience. I was honored to receive 2 Teacher of the Year Awards and was nominated for the LCU Distinguished Educator Award. I also have 2 years of experience in hospitality management in the area of recreation, event planning, and activities. During this time, the skills I gained include time management, recruiting, hiring, firing, scheduling employees, leadership skills, creating banquet event orders and purchase orders, data analysis, teamwork among departments, creating team building games and events, and managing a team of 20 employees. I was honored to receive the Leader of the Quarter Award, as well as Leader of the Year award during my time at Horseshoe Bay Resort.
