•Active role in the growth and development from a 2 person, single store operation to four retail locations with a full staff. Close work with owner to gain local popularity and recognition, including mentions in Philadelphia Weekly, Philly Racked, and Metro Philly, an award from Philadelphia Magazine for Best Place for Vintage Décor of 2014, and over 20,000 Instagram followers as of November of 2014. • Stand-in vintage buyer. This included making major buying decisions based on trend forecasting and personal taste, hauling and unloading furniture and assorted housewares. • The point of contact for vendors such as KidRobot, Olliver Lifestyle, and Last Gasp Publications, selecting inventory based on customer needs, company culture and trend forecasting. •Created the weekly schedule for 8 employees, handled payroll, organized and ran weekly employee meetings, and maintained enjoyable work environments.
