Instruct high school students relating previous work experience in scientific fields to the curriculum. Plan and develop lessons to enhance students’ learning and problem-solving skills through laboratory activities, research, and presentations. Modify lessons to meet the needs of students with differing learning styles and make appropriate accommodations for students with Individualized Education Plans. Further enhance lessons by planning and coordinating field trips and incorporating lectures by guest speakers. Collaborate with students, parents, and staff to increase student performance.In 2019, was awarded a $10,000 grant for science students to attend Teton Science School in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.In 2018, received University of Wyoming’s Trustees Education Initiative Award for advising and mentoring State Science Fair participants.

Conducted business development meetings, secured several solid waste groundwater monitoring projects at municipal landfills throughout Wyoming. Served as assistant project manager for various groundwater remediation sites, coordinated field staff, equipment, utility locates, ensured clients met respective state and federal regulatory permitting and reporting requirements while meeting budget constraints. Conducted hazardous waste groundwater sampling at industrial facilities, municipal landfills, and oil refineries. Performed maintenance on groundwater remediation systems as well as analyzed and validated data in accordance with EPA guidelines. Summarized findings in quarterly and annual reports to state and federal regulatory agencies. Helped obtain Energy Star certification and public recognition for the new office. Completed vegetation surveys and assisted with Phase I Assessments. Conducted door-to-door surveys in Spanish in neighborhoods surrounding a hazardous waste facility in Texas to determine if people were drinking contaminated water.

Analyzed fish populations using electro-fishing and gillnetting equipment, assisted with riparian habitat improvement projects, monitored a variety of stream fluctuation parameters and analyzed zooplankton samples. Documented field study results and surveyed fishermen to determine catch rates and species preferences.

Performed stream crossing surveys, inventoried fish habitat, sampled fish populations, and created recommendations for improving adverse habitat conditions to the Forest Service Engineering crew. Assisted private contractors with stream reclamation projects on the Tongue River.

Educated the public on Forest Service policies. Explained the significance of the Medicine Wheel to visitors and assisted Native Americans with maintaining privacy during religious ceremonies on-site.
