Oversee the entire membership program, including sales, processing, customer care, online sales, and onsite staff. Create promotions and online monthly online newsletters, track sales statistics and success of marketing. Assist the Development Director with donor contacts, database management, posting and receipting donations. Monitor online donations from our websites, generate monthly reports and follow up with donor thank yous. Manage the "legacy" program - bricks, benched and trees. Promote, order and coordinate installation. Provide Zoo director with reports - monthly, annual, donor solicitations, and event spreadsheets. Work fundraising events with our foundation board members, assist with generating mailing lists, End or Year tax receipts, fundraising campaigns, special donor "behind the scenes" tours. Follow up with lapsed members, generate renewal notices, introduce new membership levels and opportunities to support the Zoo.

Vector Control Technician - invertebrate and vertebrate

Perform wildlife surveys, following NEPA documentation protocols, for California Spotted Owls, Pine Martens, and Fishers. Setting up survey plans for upcoming timber sales, map calling station locations, set camera stations, check tracking plates, and follow up surveillance on animal sightings. Successfully located over 10 bonded spotted owl pairs and their owlets. Mapped and recorded nest sights, protected from disturbance according to NEPA, shared information with NWRS for a tagging project and with USFS biologists studying Northern Spotted Owls.Surveillance program included night surveys calling owls, daytime recon and mapping, TR&S and GPS.Performed wet meadow habitat restoration, including plant surveys, willow cuttings and transplants, creek bank stabilization, and grazing fences.
