Successfully located over 10 bonded spotted owl pairs and their owlets. Mapped and recorded nest sights, protected from disturbance according to NEPA, shared information with NWRS for a tagging project and with USFS biologists studying Northern Spotted Owls.Surveillance program included night surveys calling owls, daytime recon and mapping, TR&S and GPS.Performed wet meadow habitat restoration, including plant surveys, willow cuttings and transplants, creek bank stabilization, and grazing fences.
