I worked at my first job for 1 and a half years coaching kids cheerleading between the ages of 2-18. I took on the role of my own Allstar cheer team a few months into working and they were the 3-5 year olds called Baby Wings. Despite my previous cheer knowledge, I learned I didn't really understand the time put into creating a fun, safe routine for my kids. I developed my patience and my creativity. I also created the best connection with my girls on the teams and their parents to make sure they were enjoying their time on the team, even when times were hard in the routine. I am currently over a year of working at Soft Shoe, a locally owned Shoe Store in Richmond. I mostly work as a sales associate, but I have also picked up a job with the stockroom to keep it organized. I also help steam the clothes to keep them nice and fresh for our customers, and have even learned a little cash register. I make sure I keep myself flexible so that I can help out our establishment to the best of my ability.
