"REMEMBER — Help those who try to help themselves. And those who don't — there are no free rides in this world." After his passing, my mom found this on a to-do list my father had written. It sums up how they lived their lives and the example they set for me — work hard and do for others. Prior to pursuing a career in pharmacy, I knew that working in the healthcare industry would allow me to help others every day. I am passionate about healthcare and making a difference in our patients’ lives. I enjoy teaching, training, and developing people and programs that allow an entire team to impact patients far beyond what I can do as an individual. I work hard to tackle any challenge that may come my way, such as obtaining and maintaining pharmacist licensure in 22 states or learning social media marketing and bookkeeping to support our family businesses. My dedication and hard work has advanced my career with positions that have increased responsibility, while maintaining a consistent track record of success. When I’m not leading my team at the pharmacy or working alongside my husband at one of our family businesses, you can find me reading, traveling, shopping online and otherwise continuing to strive to complete my father’s to do list every day.
