For more than eight years I have been building a team of highly capable consultants supporting investor account management functions for a top tier corporate private equity firm located in the Washington, DC area. My passion for problem solving and organizational dynamics drives me to identify areas of process improvement and to build solutions that increase results for my clients. Key responsibilities in this role include:Providing white-glove investor services across several business segments; Recruiting, developing and retaining talent tasked with exceeding expectations of both the client and their investors; and,Identifying process enhancement and business development opportunities.Throughout my career, I have developed and honed my leadership abilities, business acumen, and my administrative, customer service and data analytics skills through my various professional roles. The opportunities I had helped me grow not only in my technical skills but also in the soft skills needed to be a successful professional. Skills such as patience, emotional intelligence, adapting to change and accepting and applying feedback.I started my career in Chicago as a non-profit development professional. I began as an Income Development Representative, moved up to a Senior Income Development Representative, and then finally became the Income Development Manager for two different non-profit organizations. These positions taught me employee and volunteer management, event management and fundraising. I also learned the value of networking and building relationships with the community around me to increase awareness of (and donations to) the organizations I represented. Following work in non-profit, I spent time as a sales coordinator for Experian and as a business unit administrator for Credit Suisse. These roles taught me the importance of multi-tasking, developing a sense urgency and prioritization, client service and people management. After relocating to the Washington DC area, I leveraged my experience in client services and data analysis and started as a Senior Analyst. I quickly rose into my current role of Senior Manager, a member of our leadership team, where I manage a team of consultants committed to providing consistent, quality support to our client and their investors.
