Current• Cares for individuals who struggle with substance abuse and/or psychiatric illness under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals, such as clinicians and/or psychiatrists. • Co-facilitates didactic and experiential groups under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals, such as clinicians and/or psychiatrists. • Facilitates recreational groups and activities, such as Life Skills, under direction of supervisors.• Supports the daily program structure by helping/ensuring clients attend all scheduled activities. • Observes and monitors adolescents in therapeutic groups and during program breaks. • Builds rapport by talking on the phone with clients and family, treating all with dignity, respect, and prompt, individualized attention and service. • Assumes responsibility for all assignments and enthusiastically assists other team members with minimal direction. • Documents and communicates client updates, including unusual or erratic changes in client behaviors, providing clinical and administrative support to treatment team.• Participates in team meetings.• Assists the treatment team in crisis situations to ensure safety of clients and staff.• Demonstrates an understanding of adolescent growth and development.• Maintains a safe and orderly therapeutic environment.• Demonstrates skill in areas of universal precautions, CPR, prescription management, fire safety, abuse and neglect reporting, patient rights, and HIPAA protocols.
