Experienced public health administration leader with a proven track record in overseeing complex administrative, communication, and fiscal operations. I bring extensive expertise in developing efficient systems and implementing strategic program initiatives to drive impactful community health outcomes.In my current role, I oversee Lurie Children’s Community Health Needs Assessment and Implementation Strategy, manage a portfolio of over $40 million in grant and philanthropic funding, and coordinate a variety of operational functions. My responsibilities include preparing funding proposals, budgets, and fiscal reports; drafting and managing contracts, MOUs, and service agreements; hiring and supervising staff; developing tracking systems; and executing communication and dissemination strategies to enhance program visibility and stakeholder engagement.Prior to joining the Magoon Institute for Healthy Communities in 2017, I served as Associate Director of Strengthening Chicago’s Youth (SCY), the largest violence prevention collaborative in Chicago. There, I successfully secured and managed a $2 million annual budget from grant and philanthropic sponsors. I also developed a robust communication and capacity-building strategy that expanded coalition membership to nearly 5,000 partners citywide and oversaw a training portfolio serving over 1,000 partners each year.My previous experience includes managing Healthy Places funding and subawards as Fiscal Programs Coordinator with the Consortium to Lower Obesity in Chicago Children (CLOCC), where I administered a $5.8 million CDC-sponsored cooperative agreement.I am skilled in nonprofit management, operational systems development, grant writing, strategic communications, event planning, and data management. I hold a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) from DePaul University, with additional training in computer programming, communications, and health sciences.
