•Cultivate and maintain relationships with design firms, schools and design associations•Maintain social media accounts, public relations and communications needs•Create monthly newsletter from concept to final outcome•Promote and market Swipe through various channels, including association promotions and Social Media•Develop and execute in-store promotional materials, sales and displays

•Anticipate future trends, source new merchandise and review existing items to ensure products remain competitive.•Analyze market trends, compare store sales•Keep up to date with market trends and react to changes in demand.•Monitor sales figures, forecast future sales volumes, stay within budget•Forecast seasonal orders, consider current fads and trends, consumer buying habits•Calculate the impact of any purchases on company sales and gross margin•Identify new lines through various sales channels: Sales Reps, Trade Shows, Magazines, Internet, local artists/designers/publishers•Negotiate price, quantity, discount, and payment terms•Attend national and international tradeshows to stay current
