I worked in a special needs classroom as a summer intern. This high school summer internship allowed me to work one-on-one in a classroom with an autistic child. I was trained on how to educate autistic children and created programs for the child that he could understand. I supervised children during lunch and breaks. At the end of my internship, I created a presentation about my child’s progress and presented it at a high school internship fair.
