Although I did my degree in Physics and Mathematics, programming has been a passion of mine since I taught myself Java when I was 11. Over the years, I have built a broad knowledge base as a hobby and am now eager to turn this hobby into a profession.I started out making 2D game engines in Java which later advanced to 3D with online multiplayer. At university, taking a course in Computer Organisation gave me a deeper understanding of low-level programming and code efficiency which forever changed the way I write code. Once I graduated university, I learnt more graphics programming with OpenGL and the Unity game engine, while also learning C++. C++ remains my favourite programming language. About a year before AI stormed the public eye with the release of ChatGPT, I started taking the DeepLearning.AI Specialisations on Coursera.
