From my 30+ years of experience in the insurance industry, I have developed into a top-performing claims specialist, specializing in bodily injury claims including Uninsured and Underinsured Motorist claims. To excel in this role, I have learned how to be a strong investigator – objective, observant, and detail-oriented – as well as an excellent communicator – able to listen to a customer’s story to gather critical details and explain the processes associated with resolving a claim. In my 24+ years with State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance, I gained familiarity with a number of different processes and best practices in multiple states and jurisdictions. Being in contact with customers on what often is their worst day - following a car accident - my personal goal was to put my customers at ease, thoroughly explain the claim process and to ensure their full understanding of their rights and responsibilities. Handling complex injury claims meant I was often in communication with customers over several months during the handling of their claim. Establishing a relationship and rapport was of high importance to me. I am able to independently manage a high caseload while remaining available to assist my team to ensure the team remains within service objectives.
