Primarily involved in the coordination of State interest reviews of planning scheme amendments and addressing State interests as a referral agency (s3.1.6 of IPA and s242 of SPA).• Undertaking State interest reviews on planning scheme amendments.• Representing DIP for negotiations with councils in relation to developing local area plans and structure plans for sites identified as Greenfield under the South East Queensland Regional Plan.• Reviewing appeals to determine State interests.• Ministerial Briefings/correspondence.• Secondary contact officer (customer service) for several councils.• Project manager for the Iconic Queensland Places Act 2008, Noosa and the Blackall Range Panel.• Reviewing draft master plans, public art strategies and other major business cases.• Reviewing Environment Impact Assessments (EIS).
