Senior Specialist, Great Plains Field Program Operations
CurrentIn this role, I manage the administration, monitoring, and compliance of outgoing agreements for the GP's Wildlife Initiative by collaborating closely with program staff, Native Nations, governmental agencies, and other NGO partners on the ground. This work focuses on partnering with local communities, primarily Native Nations, to recover the black-footed ferret -the most endangered mammal in N. America- and buffalo restoration.I also provide financial support on proposal development, donor reporting, and programmatic budget management. Additionally, I manage staff and oversee the GP Program's field operations unit, including fleet vehicle and field equipment management, and serve as our Program's Safety Officer. In this capacity, I work closely with WWF's Risk Management Unit and local staff to ensure the safety and well-being of our partners and WWF personnel in the field.
