Special Activities Officer
Serves as Special Project Officer, Public Health Activity-Fort Carson, battalion-level public health and veterinary command, consisting of four Branches, composed of 125 military and civilian personnel, providing comprehensive public health and veterinary services in support of analysis, assessing for mechanisms to streamline performance and costs. Monitors Military Working Dog readiness in ROVR and Lotus Notes in real time. Collates and generates weekly zoonotic disease reports for dissemination to all MTF leaders in the AO. Manages clinical medicine 2 days weekly and when needed to cover personnel shortages at Ft. Carson VETCEN. Attends Rabies Advisory Board meetings quarterly. Performed multiple complex command investigations for outside medical units on the installation and within the command. Was chosen by the Command to cover clinical medicine for 3 weeks at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
