People are my passion, and learning is my favorite past time, the combination of the two lead me to my field of study: Master of Science (M.S.) - Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)As a newly certified PMHNP-BC with a background in psychiatric nursing, I am passionate about delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals facing mental health challenges. My experience spans psychiatric assessments, psychotropic medication management, and crisis intervention, with a particular focus on children and adolescents. I have treated a diverse range of populations and mental health conditions, including ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, and complex trauma.One of my core strengths is crisis intervention, where I have successfully de-escalated cases involving suicidal ideation, acute psychosis, and violent behaviors through therapeutic communication and crisis prevention techniques. My unwavering dedication to patient advocacy has led to securing scholarships for high-risk individuals in substance abuse recovery and helping adolescents escape unsafe environments.I am excited to continue my journey as a PMHNP and welcome opportunities to connect!
