I have practised law in a number of areas since 2009. I started my career in commercial litigation, then moved into resource and environmental law, before settling into work in the Tiriti space in 2018. I'm currently taking a break from law to explore other interests such as writing and travel. In 2023, I published my first children's book and have a number of other children's stories in progress at present. I'm also working on a non-fiction book sharing our 12 year property investment journey. In 2024 our family is embarking on the adventure of a lifetime, leaving New Zealand and heading over to Australia to undertake a "big lap" around Australia starting in Brisbane in September. But in 2019 we had a realisation - we could achieve financial freedom much sooner than 65: we might even be able to achieve financial freedom by forty. A goal was set, a blog was started and now at 39 we are about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime: exploring Australia full time in a caravan. Our trip starts in September 2024.
