I have had the opportunity to and work with non-profit and for-profit organizations on both the client and agency sides of the business during my career. During my time at each of these organizations, I have learned to face challenges and strategically communicate to stakeholders in an effort to reach business goals. In addition, I have experience working with many different online communication outlets including Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Visual.ly, Instagram, and Vine. Some projects that I have worked on have enabled me to implement Google SEO and Adwords projects.I am very familiar with different email clients including Mail Chimp, Constant Contact, and Real Magnet. In each of these platforms, I have had the opportunity to deploy internal and external email communications in the B2B and B2C sectors. From 2011 to 2013, I attended West Virginia University and received my Master's degree in Integrated Marketing Communications. The entire curriculum was based on discovering industry insights and applying them to any marketing channel. For my thesis, I created an entire marketing campaign for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Using my knowledge in many areas of marketing, the organization was able to see the benefit in using different marketing channels to reinforce the same message.I am always looking to gain new knowledge and better my professional self.
