Field EngineerAdvanced Geoservices Corp Sep 2002 - Mar 2004Ms. Hebert was the Resident Project Representative for the 105-acre Jacks Creek Superfund site. The site is a former smelting and precious metals reclamation facility. A portion of the site property is currently used for a metal scrap yard and an aluminum recycling facility. The site consists of a complex assortment of buildings, waste piles, scrap metal, and large areas of soil contaminated with heavy metals. Lead contaminated soils were relocated into a consolidation area on the property. Lead contaminated soils over 40,000 ppm were treated on-site prior to consolidation. The project included construction of six sediment basins, sampling within Jack's Creek to identify sediment deposits for removal, restoration of wetlands in the North Woods, , as well as additional measures to help control soil movement and erosion along the creek. Ms. Hebert assisted some of these sampling activities, documented construction progress, reviewed contractor submittals, and assisted with other construction administrative responsibilities.
