I am a civil and criminal litigator with over ten years of experience in the Seventh and Ninth Circuit Federal Courts; as well as California and Illinois State Courts. In 2021 I became licensed to practice in California. Since that time, I started working at Legal Services for Prisoners with Children, where I engage in litigation and policy work. I have previously opened my own law firm and successfully prosecuted several cases against both municipalities and private entities in California and Illinois. Additionally, I have successfully handled dozens of arbitration and bankruptcy cases.Prior to attending law school, I was a social worker who worked primarily with victims of domestic violence. While attending DePaul University and after attaining my baccalaureate degree in Sociology, I worked as a counselor in an emergency shelter for survivors of domestic violence.Colleagues consider me assertive and dedicated to seeking justice for my clients. I often look for innovative ways to protect my clients' interests while helping them into better circumstances.I received my Juris Doctorate from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois.
