Urban Planner
Currento Schedule, review, and analyze Planning applications, providing timeline estimates and project enhancement recommendations.o Generate and prepare reports, presentations, visualizations, research, and studies. o Perform architectural review for new buildings, façade changes, and signage throughout the Town reviewing for code compliance, historic status, and overall design, materials, color, and screening. o Process, review, and analyze site conditions and land use impacts for Planning Board Special Permit applications.o Serve as the Planning Division representative and provide recommendations at biweekly Planning Board public hearings.o Review and evaluate RFPs for Planning studies.o Interact with constituents to explain Town code and procedures, and evaluate properties for potential uses and site design. o Conduct site inspections and maintain detailed records of site conditions for application approval or denial.o Evaluate approvals for clothing bin and tow truck license applications based upon site history and possible impacts.o Construct written code amendments for updated improvements and necessary changes.o Conduct, collaborate and deliver information on special projects and research for the Town, including data collection.o Maintain detailed and accurate records of Planning applications.
