As the FSO I provide services and assistance to Credit Union members. These services include dispensing information about various accounts, opening accounts for new and current members, handling the establishment of new membership, and processing changes. I direct members on how to proceed with loan requests, advise members of alternative financial services, balance a cash draw daily, key account information into the SECU database, respond to members’ phone calls, and file documentations. I currently review and process loan and credit card applications. I am a North Carolina Notary. I will soon obtain my insurance and mortgage license.

As an Executive Board member of this volunteer organization, I help coordinate efforts to connect credit union industry professionals with resources to reach youth populations. NYIB specializes in unique DIY plans to influence youth through financial education, school-run branches and youth marketing.

As the Campus Visitation Coordinator I plan and facilitate visits to the University through our office for under privileged youth. I have worked with groups including but not limited to Upward Bound, MSEN Pre-College, and Kipp Star. Along with these visits I served on the student administrative staff; we work year round to organize recruitment initiatives. I also delegated task for and to over 60 student volunteers. I served as a liaison between our office and student groups and organizations. I kept inventory of and distributed campus materials to program participants. During the summer months I was the Project Uplift Office Manager; I answered phones, filed documents, wrote reports, and handled correspondence with faculty and parents. From this position I have obtained excellent organization skills, as well as personnel and communication skills. I have the ability to delegate task and I bring enthusiasm to people and groups.
