With an extensive sales background, Kelli is responsible for meeting and event sales at Hotel Indigo in Athens, GA.A significant part of Kelli’s sales efforts generate maximum economic impact by attracting visitor spending to Athens. With industry experience gained through the Athens Convention and Visitors Bureau, Kelli recognizes the importance of visitor spending to local economies and promotes the hospitality industry as a leading statewide economic engine.Prior to her work with the Hotel Indigo, Kelli was the Senior Sales Manager at the Athens Convention and Visitors Bureau.Kelli is active in various community and industry associations. She is a member of the Georgia Society of Association Executives, through which she received the Chairs' award in 2013. She is also a member of the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce where she serves on the Athens Chamber Ambassador's Committee and on the Board of Directors for the Young Professionals Network. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Create Athens, a local committee committed to raising the profile of the creative community in Athens, enhancing the economic viability of creative entrepreneurs, and increasing the national recognition of Athens, Georgia, as a center for the arts.
