- Managed a team of three full-time employees to plan, design, implement, and maintain hardware, software, data, and services to support traffic management in the District of Columbia- Oversaw obligation, procurement, and contract management of 10+ contracts worth over $10 million on a yearly basis for a wide range of activities: feasibility studies, design, construction, market research, technical services, hardware and software maintenance, equipment purchases, data services, technology pilots, and regional coordination- Provided engineering input, integration support, and data analysis for initiatives across the agency, including traffic management operations, asset management, Vision Zero, long range planning, freight and bus lane operations- Conducted data analysis and data visualization to monitor personnel, hardware, and software performance- Stood up and regularly facilitated agency-wide strategic initiatives through our Data Governance Council and Pilot Evaluation & Screening process for vetting emerging technology pilots- Developed DDOT’s Transportation System Management and Operations (TSMO) Plan- Devised and championed two agency-wide research projects: Pedestrian and Cyclist Intersection Safety Sandbox and Roadmap for Agency-Wide Approach to Automated Image Processing- Served as the liaison between Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) staff and DDOT on automated traffic enforcement as the program transitioned from MPD to DDOT- Served on technical source selection committees for the Eastern Transportation Coalition’s Transportation Data Marketplace and the National Capital Regional Transportation Planning Board’s Travel Monitoring Support procurements- Regularly served as DDOT liaison at the MPD Joint Operations Command Center during major special events
