Wrote as recurring columnist on use of social media and technology in the university classroom and on trends in media studies scholarship. Served as outside reviewer for academic journals and publishers, confidentially evaluating chapters for accuracy, relevancy, effectiveness, and readability. Created and co-edited anthology 'Locating Shakespeare in the Twenty-First Century' (2012) for clarity and consistency; selected writers, obtained contracts, secured image copyright, and designed cover.

Developed and implemented curricula for 30+ college courses—including ones centering on writing, literature, film, television, web presences, social media, wikis, good design, and ADA compliance. Created websites to house instructional material for easy student access and 200+ PowerPoint presentations to encourage student participation during lectures. Adapted face-to-face courses into asynchronous online courses; devised learning modules, objectives, and instructional material to gauge student progress and target learning styles. Contributed to podcasts, documentaries, and news stories as presenter and interviewee (e.g., BBC, USA Today). Supervised teaching assistants and advised honors students. Delivered guest lectures in classrooms and at national/international conferences; organized areas/panels for national conferences.
