Assisitant coordination of clinical trials for Consultants in Cardiovascular Disease: I assisted the CICDI research team with scientific phase III and IV trails. Our department focused on new pharmacologic or interventional treatments worked, and through clinical trials, establish new and better ways to prevent, detect, diagnose, control and treat illnesses.Responsibilities included: Daily patient screening, patient consenting, randomization, and medication accountability.Blood sample collection (trained in phlebotomy by St. Vincent Health Center and Associated Clinical Laboratories).Patient follow-up visits: including collection of ECG, vitals, medication review, and health status questionnaires.
