Signature Projects:Neal & Harwell - law firmChallenge - Creating a grand entry and reception area, that incorporated the views of downtown, while positioned at the back of the elevator lobby.Solution - Using the space between the split elevator shafts, we designed flooring and ceiling elements that contrasted and transitioned from the rest of the lobby areas.Benefit - Created an elegant design feature that draws attention to anyone entering the floor and leads them into the grand reception area where the skyline views are the prominent feature.Project: There was no need for additional signage or instructions, on how to enter the space or where to find the reception area. AkzoNobel - corporate officeChallenge - Designing a 25,000 sq. ft. office space that was open, fun, and enjoyable to the staff, while showcasing the client's paint and coatings products. Solution - We used the client's signature paint and coatings color palette to delineate departments and spaces. This was achieved with custom colored carpets and contrasting millwork accents.Benefit - A vibrant and cheerful environment in an open office, that highlights the client's products in a fun and unique way.Project - We designed visual separation of departments, while maintaining an open office. The use of this color palette aides in way-finding throughout and creates playful moments of contrasting finishes to unify the entire floor. Butler Snow - law firmChallenge - Designing a plan with enclosed offices throughout, in a serpentine-shaped building.Solution - Following the line of the curves of the building to create office wall fronts and corridors.Benefit - Accentuating the architecture allowed the design to naturally create the corridors separating the offices on the exterior glass from the interior office functions. Project - A beautiful and serene office environment where the users travel the gently curved corridors and experience the architecture from within the elegant office space.
