Primary Responsibilities: Procurement and management of supply; Scheduling of pipelines, utilities, and customers; Management of customers - usage, banks, and imbalances; Forecasting of daily and forward positions; Strategizing inventory and margin hedge opportunities; Optimization of assets while minimizing costs and avoiding penalties; Evaluation of growth opportunities; Reconciliation for month-end reports and invoices; Maintain knowledge and awareness of regulatory actions; Assist with acquisition and retention of large accountsBeyond these responsibilities, I advocate for expanding green energy offerings to customers. In April 2021, I helped launch the Carbon Neutral Natural Gas pilot program for residential customers. The program was expanded in January 2023 to include options for commercial natural gas customers. Our team continues developing options to allow every Shipley Energy customer the means to take control of their greenhouse gas footprint associated with their energy use. I am also involved with developing Shipley Energy’s sustainability plan so that we may live our values and lead by example.
