I am a senior corporate strategist with experience in partnership development, stakeholder relations, program management, policy and regulatory, and communications. I work with internal and external partners in government, industry and non-profit across sectors to bring ideas into action. I am known for my insight and my ability to see a path forward to meet organizational goals. I inspire people towards a common vision and bring people together to realize business outcomes. I am a serial intrapreneur, integrating strategy and innovation across functional areas. My career has led me from working in communications for Parks Canada, to economic development with the BC Government, to developing strategies for research at UBC, to inspiring and engaging employees at Coast Capital, to strategic leadership at the Quantum Algorithms Institute. All of these roles have leveraged my skills to connect with people, clarify and communicate a vision, and inspire people to work together towards common goals. I have over 10 years of experience leading multi-functional teams, fostering a whole-team approach to organizational goals. I value the opportunities I've had as a trusted coach and mentor to help people move forward in life and career. Outcomes of my work include a $24M grant in health research with non-profit partners, launch of a UBC coastal climate adaptation lab with $1.5M to support community projects, and a partnership with a Canadian research institution to drive industry adoption of innovation in clean tech.
