I am the current manager of an 80 place day nursery which is at 90% occupancy. I oversee the day to day running of the nursery supporting and working with a staff team of 32. I am the designated lead safe guarding officer for the setting. Won an award for Nursery manager new comer of the year in 2019 and in 2020 was awarded commitment to quality.

To oversee the smooth running of this busy City London nursery, working with top clients such as Goldman Sachs and Deloitte to provide a dedicated children's centre in the heart of London. I lead a team of 10 staff supporting the vision, aims and objectives of the nursery and maintained high quality standards. I had sole charge of my own budget and at the end of the year came in under budget, I completed monthly returns, ordering of stock and equipment as needed all making sure we provided the best stimulating environment but keeping within budget. I dealt with the nursery waiting list, enquiries and the marketing of the nursery dealing with the sage system. I effectively lead and managed my staff team, supported staff training, mentored staff to enable them to deliver outstanding levels of childcare and education.

(Mat leave cover) To lead a team of 8 staff overseeing the day to day management and co-ordination of services, supporting and keeping the staff team motivated whilst their was quite a few chances going on. Maintaing the waiting list and marketing of the nursery using a system called abacus. Staff recruitment and retention working with head office to support staff training needs and helping to implement the new EYFS that came into effect in September 2008. Keeping parents up to date with changes within the nursery. Working within my own budget, ordering of stock and equipment, monthly returns.
