I'm currently wanting to develop my skill set in order to gain professional growth. My college career began at Texas Tech University, where I studied Public Relations through the College of Media & Communications. While I was there, I was nominated to participate in the SPEAK UP competition hosted by the university each Spring. I became one out of eight finalists to share their speech. It was an incredible experience and helped me significantly improve my Public Speaking skills!In January 2017, I transferred to Texas A&M and was accepted into their Liberal Arts College, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a Minor in Journalism. Throughout my last years of college, I was a writing intern for a weekly newspaper in the local Brazos Valley area, titled "Maroon Weekly". The internship helped me further develop my writing skills and learn how to stick to important deadlines while still maintaining my part-time job, volunteer hours, and semester courses.My primary focus in the workforce has been in the customer service industry. I consider myself to be a people person and like to engage with the customers I'm serving. I'm eager to help others and am quick to find a solution to any of their problems.
