My work experience began in a continuing care community in Doylestown, PA as a Recreation Coordinator planning activities for the senior population with various abilities. In the summer of 2000, after getting married, we moved out to Colorado! I found a job as a Group Leader at a local preschool for about 5 years until I received an opportunity to work at an engineering and management firm providing billing and customer service for numerous water and wastewater districts, eventually taking on the company’s project billing and becoming efficient in the software capabilities and reports for analysis. Throughout my 17 years with this company, my experience and responsibilities have expanded leading to my progression within the company while contributing to increased efficiencies and services. Becoming assistant to the Owner, I focused on administrative support to the Board of Directors of several special districts as well as the engineers and project managers within the office. I assisted in generating project reports, preparation of company proposals, government funding requests for special district projects, billing software report development for analysis, learning basic website maintenance and company event planning. My flexibility and willingness to learn has recently afforded me the ability to expand on current responsibilities to include AR and AP for our special district clients. I enjoy working with people and being a ‘go-to’ for information and assistance. In August of 2022, our family moved back east to North Carolina where I am looking for a local company that can utilize my skills and support.
