My expertise at the moment is ergonomics. I have taken courses and have my CEAS III. (Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist) I have been job shadowing my boss for 10 years. He is an OT and an Ergonomist. I am the Business Administrator and now President of Peak Ergonomics and wear a lot of different hats, which I love. I continue to learn and grow.One of my loves is watercolors. I am creative and had an entire line of 50 different recipe cards, note pads, postcards etc. many years ago. But learning to watercolor has been a wonderful addition to my life in the last 3 years. My mom is my teacher and mentor.

I started out by setting up a website and my duties grew and eventually it turned into a full time posittion. I bill and process payments for our clients I do bookwork and ordering of supplies and products. I write proposals and negotiate new contracts with clients. I have completed several courses on ergonomics and have my CEAS III (Certified Ergonomics Assement Specialist) I help with ergonomic assesments and reporting. We provide ergonomic training and early intervention. Several times a year we conduct seminars on basic and advanced ergonomics. I am always willing to learn and have grown so much in this position.

OwnerMain Street Mercantile Jun 1982 - Dec 2003Hannibal MissouriWe started Main Street Mercantile in the summer of 1982 in a historic building we purchased on Main Street in Hannibal, MO. We carried antiques along with items from local artists on consignment and an array of other retail items. We then purchased the double wide storefront next to us and moved Main Street Mercantile over to one side of it, and then started another business, Kelly Ann's Sweet Shoppe, serving ice cream and sandwiches. We also rented out the other store front and an apartment above. Eventually we sold the properties and I continued Main Street Mercantile by retailing at shows but also by designing and wholesaling a line of nearly 50 notepads, recipe cards, gift tags etc that I sold to other businesses across the country.
