As the team leader at the Victorian Department of Families, Fairness & Housing, Kelly is responsible for the information sharing team within the statewide specialist children’s operations group. She has been in this role for nine months, after working as a senior family violence practice lead at the Department of Justice and Community Safety for eight months.With over 11 years of experience in the family violence and child protection sector, Kelly is passionate about improving practice and practice consistency by implementing best practice into her team and the broader organisation. She has strong transformational leadership skills and leads with an open and culturally safe perspective. She is proficient in developing internal and external relationships at a variety of organisational levels and seeks to meet shared outcomes with strong stakeholder management skills. She holds a graduate certificate in domestic violence from RMIT University and has been nominated for the Australasian excellence in policing awards for most outstanding female practitioner.
