I am responsible for overseeing and supporting a team of eight representatives throughout Texas, whose jobs are to recruit and retain members while supporting our member volunteers. I utilize a Customer Relationship Management database daily while supporting my team and serving our members. On an ongoing basis I provide training to my team, so they feel confident using the technology and platforms that have been provided, as well as talking through issues and strategizing how to handle situations. I perform data analysis on membership information and convert that into action items to help meet current and future goals. I secure our presence at conventions throughout Texas and organize staffing and materials. Additionally, I organize ATPE’s presence at back-to-school events at school districts across Texas. I also manage ATPE’s Educator of the Year Awards and Leader Development Committee.

I taught 5th Grade for one year after completing an alternative certification program and relocating from the Lubbock area to the Austin area. I developed lesson plans and was team lead for Social Studies. I analyzed student data and developed intervention plans to help students fill in their learning gaps. I also managed relationships and communication with parents for my five 5th grade classes I had each day.

I began work with the National Sorghum Producers and the United Sorghum Checkoff program as their front office assistant. There I was responsible for greeting guests, scheduling travel and meetings, and entering all Checkoff Payments into the database and organizing paperwork. Mr. Tim Lust moved me to the Development Director position when that role became vacant. As Development Director, I was responsible for managing the Industry Partner program, securing funds for sponsorships, and managing advertising sales for Sorghum Grower magazine. Additionally, I managed the Sorghum PAC (Political Action Committee) including the annual fundraiser event.

I was fortunate enough to stay home with my two children for a period of time. During this time, I also managed a small retail business selling collectible die-cast metal tractors, John Deere merchandise, women's accessories, and jewelry I made myself. I attended vendor markets and farm shows to provide sales, and also sold via my online store and Ebay. Additionally, I maintained a booth in a local craft mall in Lubbock.

I was responsible for managing the donor-based parking for Texas Tech Football games and assisting with implementing the donor-based seating program. I worked closely with other departments at Texas Tech for smooth game-day operations and managed a small group of our game-day staff. I utilized multiple Customer Relationship Management databases daily to serve Texas Tech fans and increase memberships to the Red Raider Club. I also managed several other key functions and programs, including the disbursement of member benefits, the Student Red Raider Club, the Club Car Services for game-day and other functions, and an annual golf tournament for donors.
