Project Management/Mentoring Junior Developer/Complex Script Coding for custom online media sales performance tracking application created in Claris FileMaker Pro to replace legacy Excel solution. Responsible for Business Analysis, Solution research and presentation, Requirements Gathering, SOW, Documentation, project management, supervision/mentoring of junior developer, regular client communication, architecture of solution, creation of custom code scripts, oversight of training materials creation, design work, and testing.

Led initiative that reduced product inventory losses, improved efficiency of catering team, and improved cross-functional communication through establishment of new procedures, policies, and tools. Collaborated with members of both kitchen and catering teams to assess, create, and implement new processes like centralized inventory storage, checklists, separate staging areas by destination and function for catering events, in house dining, and daily corporate lunch services. Conducted training for new additions to the catering team and training for existing staff in newly established efficiency and communication processes. Participated in catering events and preparation as needed. Conducted training for new employees and for existing staff on new procedures and tools.

Collaborated with a team to create and publish a childrens picture book. This multi-year project resulted in a finished, published book available at libraries and on-line platforms. As both project manager and illustrator, I was responsible for creating the initial high-level project charter and bringing it to the product owner. I also did research and analysis to identify methods by which publication of the book could be achieved, including costs associated with industry regulatory components like copyrights, registration, obtaining an ISBN, number as well as time and materials estimates related to artsupplies, software applications needed, and staff requirements. I created a project plan and schedule, conducted requirements-gathering sessions with author, created scope of work, conducted cost benefit analysis of different artistic medium choices for original artwork development, managed product costs and project communications. I met with product owner and quality control resource for multiple prototype review iterations, obtained approvals, and transitioned management of the remaining process to the internal project publication resource, while monitoring publication status and being available to help with any issues. Held project retrospective, documented key project learnings, and facilitated brainstorming session regarding potential sequel projects.
