With over 17 years in childhood development, I’ve made my career helping parents and kids make sure they’re getting all the crucial development they need—and having fun doing it.My latest project, MOTOR PLANit, is a learning and child development app based around helping kids—especially kids with developmental challenges—enhance their strength, coordination, fine motor, visual motor, visual perception and sensory processing. Because constant PT isn’t always an option, I wanted to create something that parents could use on their time to make sure their growing children were hitting all the important benchmarks.To develop the activities, I’ve worked with child specialists to make sure MOTOR PLANit incorporates the right kind of training and development tasks that real pediatricians and physical therapists use.

I built a private, pediatric practice from the ground up that is currently a leading provider of occupational, physical, and speech therapy services, as well as Applied Behavior Analysis, within our community.

Adjunct Professor - Pediatric Occupational Therapy Fieldwork

I worked as an adjunct professor and handled pediatric occupational therapy assistant fieldwork.

I worked as an independent contractor within a public school system. Completed student evaluations and re-evaluations, developed IEP goals and objectives, and provided education to teachers and support staff. I also provided direct intervention for children with special needs, as well as consultative services to children at risk. I developed and implemented staff education in the areas of sensory processing, handwriting, and motor development.

I provided direct occupational therapy services within a private, school-based program for children with behavioral concerns. I consulted with educators regarding sensory-based strategies in order to create environments conducive for learning in children with aggressive behaviors, emotional disturbances, depression, and anxiety.
