I continued my analyses using META's open-source ESM models that we adopted to perform sequence-based optimization of antibodies. I looked at different trends within the global structures suggested as well as down to the individual sequences chosen. These trends were then compared to what scientists did in the past before in-silico design of antibodies, and these insights were presented to the Discovery Science Team to understand what kinds of sequences are predicted to be successful.

I analyzed internal historical data for biophysical characteristics and collaborated with scientists to register this data into internal databases. This process involved determining efficacy of older scientific data. I then informed on data culture practices at UCB through analyses of the newly inputted data by presenting to various groups including the broader Data and Translational Sciences team, Head of Discovery Science, and other members of Early Solutions. Finally, I performed global analysis on Meta’s open-source ESM protein models to aid in-house early-stage antibody candidate ranking.

The focus of the lab is on understanding the neural bases of natural human behavior in real-world environments. I participated in the development of FreeMoCap, an open source motion capture system that includes a pipline for 3D kinematic reconstruction. Specifically, I worked with DeepLabCut on human and axolotl movement to study behavior.

I was responsible for creating delivery routes and delivering equipment to houses in Morris County to build face shields amidst the pandemic. This was aimed to stockpile PPE in New Jersey to prevent future shortages due to COVID-19.

I was an information technology intern, and I worked on digitalizing outdated filing systems in the company.

I simulated Troxler’s Effect in 1D in an effort to determine how the brain processes motion under the guidance of Dr. Troy Shinbrot and PhD candidate Mary Pat Reiter. I created a program in Excel that cycled through different versions of what the eyes and brain are processing when viewing an optical illusion known as Troxler's Effect.

I worked on modernizing mainframe systems with the Model Ops Initiative in custodial banking and prototyped possibilities. I also improved user experience through the Take the Cape Initiative, aimed at helping workers have the most resources to be the most productive they can be.
