I have 15 years in experiential education: public secondary, charter, and higher education. Furthermore, after 6 years on the Bayfield Town Board and 4 years on the Planning Commission, I'm invested in local public/private partnerships to sustainably increase workforce housing availability.Plus, I have 10 years as a rock star teaching English in the classroom by facilitating project-based, experiential curriculum. You know I have stories! Considering the experiential work I conducted in undergrad, including teaching English in Mexico, it was no surprise I gravitated to writing culturally responsive and inclusive TESOL and standard English Language Arts curriculum within the State's standards. Teaching English was my job but including EVERYONE is my passion. My former position at Fort Lewis College (FLC) encouraged me to utilize my coordination skills to create relationships across campus and the region to improve the lives of students and staff. Thus far, I've created accountable partnerships with Colorado Outward Bound School, Southwest Conservation Corps (Conservation Legacy), and others through paid student internships. Furthermore, I initiated a joint certification in Wilderness Therapy through the Psychology department and our Adventure Education department. Included in the certification is an annual scholarship for an adventure education student who is underrepresented in the outdoor industry. Obviously, I possess extensive experience in relationship building and meeting stakeholders where they are. In my free time I like to mentor novice and veteran educators while enjoying everything the Colorado wilderness has to offer.

Service CoordinatorCalcom Energy Feb 2022 - PresentFresno, California, UsAt CalCom Energy, I’m the Jill of All Skills in the Service Department. In my day-to-day, I request quotes from vendors. Then create service estimates and propose them to clients. Upon approval, I prepare purchase orders and send them to the vendor and our AP department. I also create service orders and appointments based on a bi-monthly service schedule including 3 teams: Preventative Maintenance, Project-Based Maintenance, and Reactive Maintenance. Twice a week I update technician appointment dispatches. Following dispatches, I evaluate field reports. As a result, I either email a follow up report and invoice to the client, create a follow up appointment, or request a quote from a vendor. In addition to my daily tasks, I also enjoy project-based work. In 2022, we migrated from CoreCon--a cloud-based construction software--to Acumatica--ERP/CRM to develop processes in the Service Department and eliminate inefficiencies. In 2023, I assisted CalCom and customers navigate Huawei's warranty claim after their exit from the US business landscape. In 2024, our team is implementing SalesForce CRM.• Design and implement new functionality within data intensive applications.• Perform data import and data transformation activities.• Solve recurring issues, documenting and promoting best current practices.• Implement features, providing technical expertise and training, and facilitating knowledge transfer to new clients and team members.• Liaison between Developers, Business Analysts and clients, resolving business and technical challenges for successful transition to client led systems. -
Program Coordinator - Adventure EducationFort Lewis College Oct 2018 - Jan 2022Durango, Co, UsAs the administrative assistant for the Adventure Education Department, I was responsible for typical tasks such as budget management (AppMan, Banner, Webopus), meeting/event coordination (Outlook), notetaking (Sharepoint), and e-blasts and social media (Canva, Insta, FB) for AE students. However, I see those tasks as minute compared to what I spent a large part of my time doing for the department. Over those 2 years, my goals had been to diagnose the program’s growth and underinvestment struggles, apply appropriate interventions, and secure its future in the dynamic FLC system. • Presented program assessment findings and initiate strategies for program goals and student success• Managed Department budget and class budgets and reported monthly to Finance and department chair person• Collaborated with IT and Registrar’s Office to design the process for pre-major to major transition-set requirement criteria (AppMan)• Collaborated with Career Services and School of Business professors to design a survey (deployed through Handshake) to provide data to local rec companies about student spending habits for SOAR-Southwest Outdoor Adventure Rendezvous• Designed, implemented, and analyzed assessment of AE student learning for annual program assessment (Taskstream) • Survey design, implementation, synthesis, and reporting for FLC Staff Council (MS Forms)• Created electronic student forms (conduct, liability, and medical) (Adobe and MS Power Automate)• Revised and edited course proposals and accompanying budgets• Advised students based on major/minor requirements and map to graduation• Develope job, practicum, and internship opportunities for AE students, e.g. Open Sky, Southwest Conservation Corps, SJMA, local schools, and many others -
