I am currently responsible for overseeing school-based teams and curriculum development for all educational professionals to help positively change the world one student at a time for 800 annual students aligning with the School Code of Conduct. Reporting to the Principal, my role focuses on maintaining school inventory for a plethora of materials, being a liaison between school staff and the Principal, and creating professional development opportunities for staff to hone in on skillsets. I joined this opportunity after serving as a leader in this school for more than 15 years. After numerous opportunities of mentoring peers, new educators, and additional staff, I wanted to challenge myself while also honing in on areas I have grown in to make a positive impact in this school.Major successes in this role include the ongoing growth and development of 70 professionals since starting in the role, and becoming the School Assessment Coordinator to maintain confidential testing data in accordance with state and federal mandates for our school.

In this role, I was instrumental in educating more than 1,530 students over the course of 17 years in areas of English Language Arts (ELA), and Social Studies. Reporting to the Assistant Principal and Principal of the school, I developed daily curriculum objectives and department-level implementation of high education standards through the mentoring and supporting of other peers. I joined this school after working in a primary education environment focused on 2nd grade and 4th grade learning. In my role, I wanted to take on more leadership and mentorship opportunities with peers while also teaching 6th and 7th grade students.Accomplishments in this role include supporting 3 new teachers and multiple student teachers in areas of communication, curriculum development, and performance optimization through my leadership. Successes in this role also included serving as a Lead Aftercare Teacher for three years, organizing the program management of clubs (including Foreign Travel Club, Fitness Club, and NJHS), and mentoring 15 new educators along with two student educators throughout my time in the role.

In this role, I am responsible for assisting with the development of multiple online resources focusing on instructional design that can be used for numerous courses for the University of West Florida. Reporting to numerous faculty and the Dean of the College of Education and Professional Studies, this role supports graduate students in gaining hands-on experiences toward instructional design technology in a plethora of ways. After starting my Master's degree, I sought out this opportunity to increase my knowledge and hands-on experience in this area of study. This role inspires high creativity and support for numerous stakeholders. Most recently, initiatives of work have included assessing course quality and ADA conformance for various university courses, and creating professional development experiences for full-time and adjunct faculty. Main areas of support include E-learning, curriculum development, literacy and reading coaching, and theory and practice initiatives.

In this role, I was responsible for creating a project-based classroom centered on student accountability and learning for more than 270 students. Reporting to the Assistant Principal and Principal, I worked to ensure high collaboration with grade-level teachers throughout the department to create more curriculum streamlining between cote subjects.I joined the school after finding a passion for working with students in educational matters. After my previous working experience with children and families, I made a career change to apply child development theories into young learning environments. Accomplishments in this role include creating content and curriculum that was thoroughly integrated and differentiated for student sucess.

In this role, I oversaw the process of referring parents to quality childcare services. Reporting to a Manager, I worked daily to ensure child development was at the forefront of each stakeholder including parents and children.I joined this opportunity after graduating with my Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development. This role provided an opportunity to help work with a team and train other child care specialists with important processes including quality assurance, program management, and effective communication. This role helped me realize my passion for working directly with children, which helped with a transition and realization into the world of teaching.
