Responsibilities • Development of novel anisotropic nanomaterials for use in immunoassay and research applications within the parameters of the Design Control System • Assisting in the development of contract immunoassays• Design and implementation of failure investigations to determine probable root cause failure of internal projects, and execution of corrective actions.• Management of scale up and re-development projects to meet business and customer requirements within tight timelines • Validation of new manufacturing processes prior to product launch in line with GMP requirements• Design and qualification of bespoke equipment to enable new product development• Analysis of competitor and collaborator products • Carrying out all activities in line with relevant ISO standards• Staff training in new processes / equipment.Achievements• Assisting the technical committee in determining the format and structure of a new ISO standard• Utilising a Design of Experiments system to decrease development time and associated costs.• Facilitating external collaboration with academia, industry and government bodies to further both short and long-term company goals.
