HHS/CMS ACTS Program/Project Manager responsible for planning, tracking and managing the projects and programs for the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services as part of the 13th scope of work. The 13th SOW consists of multiple major contracts with a total value of over $2B. Worked with the CMS Deputy Director and senior staff to manage cost, schedule and performance.

We provide cloud architecture, cloud solutions, data engineering and project management support and best practices in the GOV Cloud space for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency.

PM for the Private Medical Record (PMR) process within the VA Disability Claims process. We are responsible for receiving the veteran’s claim, working with private medical providers to retrieve service treatment and medical records. Our key function is to attain the records that support the claims package and then securely upload to the VA so the veteran claim can be reviewed and adjudicated. We have relationships with a broad provider network and a team of passionate employees that are committed to ensuring we do everything possible to get private medical records in support of our nation’s veterans.

Program Manager responsible for the full spectrum of process improvement and custom web application initiatives for the Command as well as the Systems Plus site lead for NSWDG, overseeing 14-16 personnel. Provides subject matter expertise in data analytics, process design, business requirements, custom web application design, database design, program effectiveness measurement and other Knowledge Management projects as required. Leads enterprise wide projects directed by the Commanding Officer and Deputy Commanding Officers that have a significant and direct impact on the Command’s mission and effectiveness. • Spearheaded and implemented 4 enterprise wide projects to date. The most significant project I designed and implemented was a financial system for the Command to use that spanned intaking public funds estimated at $500 million dollars, budget estimation and allocation, funding statuses based on 2 other applications and databases. This project alone made the organization compliant with the FIAR regulations governing auditability, which significantly reduces financial and legal risk to the organization and provides a real time picture of the funds available and executed at any time.

Business Change Managers are key "air traffic controllers" in the Medicaid organization who prepare and manage the claims space for contracts changes, new products and services as well as growth initiatives and migrations. BCMs align tasks and deliverables to key SMEs and other resources in order to prepare for systems and claims readiness upon the go live date for various projects. Responsible for Multi-functional expansion, migration and process improvement projects to increase the quality and performance of the Medicaid Business Unit. Provides process improvement methodology, coaching and training to associates and team members who are participating in process improvement projects. Collaborates with cross-functional teams in the identification, research and implementation of process improvements and leads projects of significant scope. Manages internal and external process improvement projects with team members who work across regional and enterprise wide organizational structures and with external parties (providers and trade organizations) to formulate consensus on improvements.• Led a Payment Accuracy Review Window project that leveraged the Health Plans in every representative state to execute a 2 day review window on all auto-adjudicated claims that resulted in over $3M annual savings by reducing lost opportunities to review claims before they are paid.• Leads weekly Quality Assurance and Claims Quality meetings to identify trends in audited claims every week and determine root causes and solutions for improving claims quality across the claims quality team.• Leads the Claims Accuracy Annual Goal team to analyze and report yearly data for claims errors using in depth Excel and Minitab analysis. This effort resulted in the Claims Quality and Quality Process Improvement teams not only meeting the Annual Claims Accuracy Goal (99.2%), but exceeding the goal by attaining 99.4% yearly accuracy on all manual claims.

Leads strategic organizational analysis and resource optimization projects  Project Lead responsible for continuous performance improvement and Lean Six Sigma projects at the enterprise level, spanning across multiple directorates as well as headquarter and subordinate elements for the Joint Special Operations Command Leads organizational analysis projects that assess value and optimize resources at the strategic level by aligning functions to outputs and eliminating waste Responsible for coordinating, delivering and facilitating CPI Activities (Rapid Improvement Events – RIE’s, 5S Events, Problem Solving Teams, etc) for the Joint Special Operations Command  Communicate with Leadership Team, Performance Steering Committee and CPI Core Team for various projects on CPI Activities, findings, successes, plans and trainings. Plan CPI Activities, building project timelines, and executing follow-up activities Assisted in developing the way ahead for CPI and Performance Improvement at JSOC by leading a monthly LSS Practitioners Working Group and teaching the Yellow Belt level curriculum to personnel  Act as communication liaison between project stakeholders and value stream/operational area as it pertains to specific projects Coaches, trains and mentors Yellow and Green belt personnel in Lean Six Sigma methodology and tools Project lead for a Cultural Innovation strategy spearheaded by the JSOC Commander to define organizational Culture and lay out a roadmap for how the organization will move from the current state to the desired state through change management and Lean Six Sigma
