CHOP Leadership Education in and Adolescent Health (LEAH) Social work fellow through the Division of Adolescent Medicine. In this role I completed over 300 hours of LEAH leadership and didactic training and field work. I served as the social work fellow within an interdisciplinary team of medical, nursing, nutrition, and psychology professions and fellows. I completed a Master's of Public Health course centered in Adolescent and young adult health and health policy.

Educated myself through training and additional materials on the needs and research related to transgender, gender-diverse and gender non-conforming children, youth and their families. Managed a case load of individuals’ clients and their families. Provided therapeutic support to patients and their families as needed. Served as a co-facilitator on assessments of new and returning patients. Conducted new patient intake calls using a psychosocial lens. Served as a liaison in connecting families to resources within our clinic and in their local area. Vetted and discovered new resources for transgender and gender diverse youth and their families. Became proficient in EPIC, an electronic medical records system. Collaborated with clinic Social Workers, Counselors, Physicians, Nurses to provide interdisciplinary care to Gender Clinic patients. Worked with insurance companies through calling and advocating for our patients and understanding levels of coverage, prior-authorization needs, and barriers to coverage related to mental health and gender related care

Serving as a coordinator to the newly forming Gender Affirming Care Clinic at John’s Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. Working in remote patient care and resource building. Primary working as a social work contractor to help in building a strong foundation for the clinic.

I sever as the primary coordinator and liaison for the annual Graduate Student Research Symposium. Manage Bruce Hall room schedules and reservations, work to coordinate logistics for Diversity Committee meetings and School of Human Service Professions Faculty meetings. Assist in day to day tasks within the office of the Dean.

Worked primarily with fifth and sixth graders individual and in group sessions . Worked with sixth grade to teach Second Step through-out the school year. Helped co-facilitate Sex Education in the sixth grade classrooms. Was hired on as a part time supplemental school social worker concluding the internship until the end of the end of the school year. This position was extended past the internship requirements (September thru late April) to continue individual counseling sessions with a larger case load of individual clients.

Aided in management of 34 orientation leaders during new student orientation in August. Co-advised the Price Activities Council and the Alternative Spring Break club. Planned and executed events for Pride Night, weekend and late-night activities. Managed the Weekend Boredom Busters Committee, responsible for allocating a $5,000 budget to weekend and late-night events though collaboration efforts. Worked on a variety of additional tasks assigned and efficiently prioritized each task.

Assisted in advising the Student Events Board, the programming board on campus responsible for campus wide programming at the 1,500 student institution. Co-advised the seven Greek Life organizations, as well as Panhellenic and the Inter-Fraternity Council. Planned seven pre-orientation programs with capacity for 125 students attending and assisted in planning first-year orientation programs. Advised two on-campus community service clubs; Caring for Kids and Service Council. Managed event registration and select space reservations for all campus clubs and organizations. Worked to oversee Washington College's clubs and organizations. Managed the Student Center, game room, by hiring and supervising the ten student workers. Collaborated with offices across campus for Homecoming, Birthday Ball, and commencement activities. Assisted in managing multiple budgets totaling approximately $180,000.
