NCI & Paul Hawken, Author:After years conducting project research I helped establish and lead environmental author Paul Hawken’s nonprofit with the mission to study and share practices leading to social justice and environmental restoration, and create tools for connecting practitioners. Roles included Co-ED | Operations for NCI; Wiser.org leadership team; and Project lead for NCI's Socially Responsible Investing investigative report. Produced sector analyses for funders; ran point on a Fortune 100 co's corporate responsibility report; Research for Hawken's book "Blessed Unrest" and Hawkens/Lovins/Lovins' book "Natural Capitalism"; and served for several years as NCI's main grantwriter & funder liaison.

Research, Writing, & Project Management:Researched leverage points for humanitarian aid / disaster management funding for Humanity United; Assisted NorCal ADPSR to establish Berkeley’s Green Resource Center; Wrote topic briefs for Business for Social Responsibility; Authored Online Design’s “Thinking Green” column on environmental impacts of the graphics industry.
