P.O.P. provided me with a great opportunity to use my strong organization skills to put some systems into place to help things run more smoothly. I also was able to become much stronger on the financial end of the point of purchase industry. I was responsible for entering all bills, creating estimates, sales orders, purchase orders and performing various other transactions in Quickbooks.

As a smaller company, each employee wore many hats. I enjoyed learning all of the ins and outs of retail merchandising. I was involved all the way from helping to create the initial sales presentation and designs, through production and into the assembly and shipping process. It was a tremendous learning and growth experience.I was primarily responsible for the design, pre-press editing, organization and quoting of all graphic projects. For the last year and a half I also took on a lot of the office management responsibilities, which was a wide variety of tasks from travel arrangements, shipping labels, setting up messenger and trucking services, and answering all incoming calls.As a part of the SMS Production team my job was to keep projects moving towards a flawless completion while still holding the vision of our clients and delivering on time, on budget and above expectations.
