Led, scaled, and transformed the country’s largest chapter of Make-A-Wish (MAW). Collaborated with the executive team and BoD to create and execute strategies that drove revenue growth, mission delivery and brand advancement. Executed strategic plans through a team of sales/fundraising, program, operations, finance, and HR professionals. Created innovative multi-year funding partnerships with corporations and large membership organizations. Revamped organizational culture by creating cultural blueprint, developing leaders, and building a strong HR team.

Co-founded a strategic consulting firm that helped organizations develop, execute and drive transformational growth strategies. Conducted stakeholder assessments to identify pain points/opportunities for clients and developed strategic roadmaps to build momentum. Provided confidence-boosting coaching to leaders that enabled them to navigate complex challenges, make high-stakes presentations, and build high-performance cultures. Developed diversified fundraising strategies to successfully engage high-dollar contributors and grassroots activists.

Selected to lead a four-year Ohio Democratic Party (ODP) transformation, which at the time was a small and struggling organization. Managed the P&L and shifted the organization’s business model to one that raised/invested early growth capital and built a lasting election infrastructure of polling, modeling, programs, and highly trained staff. Devised, implemented, and managed ODP’s overall election strategy and growth plans, including strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, developing new revenue streams, budgeting, data, communications, partnerships, and outreach.

Managed strategic communications, national/state-based political activities and philanthropic efforts for the Mario Morino, a respected entrepreneur, technologist, and civic/business leader. Wrote summary reports and marketing materials for VPP’s first five-year fund and helped gain favorable media coverage for efforts that improved life outcomes for children. Reviewed grant/funding request proposals and made recommendations consistent with the family’s philanthropic, policy, and political objectives.

Technology Director: Led a $10 million reconstruction effort of the national Democratic Party’s technology infrastructure to fundamentally and forever change the way the Party at all levels raises money, moves messages, and mobilizes voters.Research Director: Led a 20 person team, directing all aspects of national research efforts on candidates and key policies. Devised media communication strategies for moving our findings into the public debate.
